Main Purpose Of Job

Provide guidance and advice to the business. Structure the existing and future business models (national and international) within the regulatory framework and advise on commercial opportunities and risks. Drive the business further while mitigating risks. Understand business needs and translate these into compliant and efficient solutions. Collaborate with the consultants and business managers of SThree’s local business, as well as other members of the global legal team. 

Role Requirements

• Contracting: Review, draft and advise on (1) commercial contracts and (2) employment-related contracts (for perm, Haken and Gyomu itaku).
• Training: Deliver training to consultants and managers on new legislation and developments.
• Guiding: Provide guidance and advice to the business on all legal and compliance matters.
• Collaborating: Work with local stakeholders and other members of the global legal team (including Risk, Integrity, Data Protection and Company Secretary) and undertake ad hoc research and translation work.

Qualifications

• University degree in Japanese law
• 2–6 years of relevant working experience as legal counsel or lawyer
• Native in Japanese, proficient in English
